Benefits

  • Hydraulic disc brakes
  • Throttle up to max 6 km/h

The Ouxi GT2000 in green comes in two versions and two delivery options. Prices start at €1,299.

Version: Limited (250W)
A 250 W motor with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. This version is immediately legal on public roads — there is nothing to modify or unlock.

Version: Tunable
This version is supplied with the 6 km/h throttle and the included killswitch. With that killswitch you switch between two modes yourself:

  • Limited: throttle 6 km/h, pedal assist 25 km/h
  • Derestricted: throttle and pedal assist up to 60 km/h

Riding derestricted is only permitted on private property. On public roads pedal assist up to 25 km/h is the maximum — so always set the killswitch to limited there.

Ouxi GT2000 – Green: 1440 Wh and 24 inch tyres for long rides outdoors

Three numbers typify the Ouxi GT2000 in green: a 48V 30Ah battery (1440 Wh), 80 km of range on medium assist and 24 x 4.0 inch off-road tyres. In practice that is a day of forest tracks, beach and dyke without charging in between. It is a fatbike for one person, with hydraulic disc brakes and a 250 W motor that assists up to 25 km/h.

You order it from FatbikeKlaar.nl as Limited (250W), legal on public roads straight away, or as Tunable with a killswitch included. You buy the same bike through FatbikeKlaar.be for Belgium and through FatbikeKlaar.com in English.

Why the GT2000 is a good choice

Performance

  • Motor: 250 W, pedal assist up to 25 km/h — enough for forest tracks and headwind.
  • Battery: 48V / 30Ah, 1440 Wh together. Twice as much as the 720 Wh of our V20 Pro.
  • Range: 80 km on medium assist, 60 to 100 km depending on the setting.
  • Charging time: 5 to 6 hours from 0 to 100%.
  • Brakes: hydraulic disc brakes, easy to modulate on wet sand.
  • Wheels: 24 inch with 24 x 4.0 inch off-road tyres; our V20 Pro, C80 and V8 run on 20 inch.

Safety and the law

The Limited (250W) version is an ordinary e-bike in the eyes of the law: 250 W and pedal assist up to 25 km/h. You need no driving licence, helmet or number plate, and the throttle stays at 6 km/h. The Tunable version reaches 60 km/h, but only on private or enclosed property. Forest tracks and beach access paths count as public road.

The GT2000 in everyday use

Comfort and riding position

The GT2000 has a high frame entry and suits a height of 150 to 200 cm. It is built for one person, without a tandem saddle or rear seat. On narrow forest tracks that makes it easy to steer around trees and bollards. The frame carries up to 150 kg, so luggage can come along. At 34 kg you would rather not carry it up a flight of stairs. On suspension our data says nothing.

Battery, display and charging

With 1440 Wh you ride around 80 km on average, with a spread of 60 to 100 km. Loose sand and headwind cost more power than tarmac. Charging takes 5 to 6 hours. About the display our specifications say nothing.

Tuning: what is possible and what is allowed

With the Tunable version you get the 6 km/h throttle and a killswitch. With those you switch between limited (throttle 6 km/h, pedal assist 25 km/h) and tuned (throttle and pedal assist up to 60 km/h). The motor plug rule of the V20 Pro does not apply here. Already have a limited GT2000? The separate controller fits this model only. The fitting is described in our blog tuning the GT2000 with the tunable controller, the parts are in the tuning kits collection.

Riding tuned is only allowed on private or enclosed property; on public roads a maximum of 25 km/h pedal assist applies. So set the killswitch to limited before you ride out of the woods.

Service, warranty and delivery

You get 3 years of warranty on the frame and 1 year on the battery and moving parts. You choose Boxed (assemble it yourself) or Assembled (built ready to ride). Ordered before 23:59 is delivered tomorrow in the Netherlands. We also deliver to Belgium and Germany; for those we name no fixed delivery time.

Parts and accessories for the GT2000

The GT2000 compared with our other fatbikes

GT2000 versus QMWheel V20 Pro

The V20 Pro has 720 Wh and gets 60 km on average; the GT2000 manages 80 km. It runs on 20 inch, offers room for 2 with an optional rear seat and has 7 Shimano gears and suspension. Tuned it reaches 45 km/h with the red motor plug and 32 km/h with the black one. Both weigh 34 kg.

GT2000 versus Ouxi C80 Family Edition

The C80 Family Edition is our family bike: 20 inch, 36 kg, 720 Wh, 60 km on average and room for 2 with an optional rear seat. Tuning goes up to 45 km/h there, through separate parts. The GT2000 is the solo bike, with double the battery capacity and bigger wheels.

GT2000 versus Ouxi V8 Ultra Max

The V8 Ultra Max has the same 1440 Wh, spread over two removable batteries. It gets 120 km on average, weighs 40 kg and carries 2 people. Tuned it reaches 50 km/h. The GT2000 is 6 kg lighter and goes up to 60 km/h.

The GT2000 also comes in black and orange, with the same specifications and delivery options. Green stands out less among the trees, orange all the more.

No. The Limited (250W) version is an e-bike with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. For that you need no driving licence, helmet or number plate.

How far do I get on one battery charge on the beach?
