International users

Please note that we may transfer, store and process your personal information outside the country you live in, including the United States (for example, via Shopify as our hosting platform). Your personal information is also processed by staff and third-party service providers and partners in these countries.

If we transfer your personal information outside of the European Economic Area, we will rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalent contracts issued by the relevant competent authority of the United Kingdom, as relevant, unless the data is transferred to a country that has been determined to provide an adequate level of protection.

Use of phone numbers and WhatsApp

Your phone number may be used for customer service via WhatsApp and, if you have given your explicit consent to this, for marketing purposes. This processing takes place on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR. We may process the following personal data: first and last name, phone number, WhatsApp ID, IP address, profile picture and message history. The use of WhatsApp requires an active account with WhatsApp/Meta; Meta's privacy policy also applies to that processing.

Your consent to the processing of your personal data can be freely withdrawn at any time by sending "STOP" to our WhatsApp number or by contacting us via info@fatbikeklaar.nl.
